Profile Hugh Waldock

Early Career 2001-2010

In the early part of my life, I did a lot of interesting things building myself a character. I had a life abroad that included an elite full immersion bilingual education in Classical Music and Languages, at Cologne Conservatoire Wuppertal Campus and Cologne University. Along with this I worked in private language academies as a tutor of English as a Second Language in order to pay my living expenses and support my studies without having to be a financial burden on the German tax payer and state.

An Ethical Foreign Student with Total Freedom to Study

Indeed, I was offered and refused a full maintenance grant from the German government along with my free tuition in Classical Voice. I felt that was immoral because of the reciprocal arrangements in the UK opting instead to run my own supply teaching business to the language schools armed with a CETLA or Cambridge University Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults. My business was modestly successful earning me around 45,000 euros in total turnover and earning around 7500 extra on average for every year I was there.

On top of the money I spent on this education from my late father’s inheritance I had quite an opulent student life for the best part of ten years. I had the pleasure of total academic freedom to study what I want when I wanted. Many would have battled on at the conservatoire for a career as a male alto, but I’d gotten into a very bitter sweet relationship with the love of my life there, so I decided to cut my ties with the music school. She had the work as a singer at that stage and I didn’t I was working in languages 25 hrs a week outside college. Being a hetero male alto just didn’t appeal I lost her because of it and became a source of misery that always reminded me of my fate. I wasn’t allowed a change of voice to baritone so I quit and accredited my study hours at the University of Cologne with the intention of becoming a composer and following my former tutor Professor Dr Lutz Werner Hesse’s path into that profession by studying for a Musicology degree there first then doing a composing course.

It turned out that I got more into my language teaching at that stage and my two minors in German and English I was studying alongside. I got a new more solid relationship going for the two years I had in Cologne with a linguist who’s major was in English and Scots. We taught together when I got her her first paid work and I forgot all about music for the second time in my life for a while and just wanted to pursue language based activity.

This experience of doing it my way, made me a fan of Donald Trump and his family. The idea of improvisation with your life plan and making your decisions work as positive rather than negative is very important. I’m also sympathetic to the Chinese leader in his quest for the utopian life. I think Xi Xingping has had an ideal life as he has experienced all human activity form being super rich to dirt poor like Friedrich Trump the US president’s ancestor. I really appreciate the fact the Xi is more powerful now than he’s ever been but I have been very similar in the sense that my money and luck ran out and I’ve been through a very barren period of 20 years in the wilderness living with my mother as a peasant, and having to fight back with all the amazing experience of life I’ve accumulated. I love Trump attitude to total freedom in life, but I wanna win like Xi at the end of the day by having the ultimate come back.

My Swan Song

Having accumulated over 70 different qualifications and certifications now I have used my wilderness years in my flea infested bedroom to learn and reflect like never before. I lost my job after completing a Masters in English for Specific Purposes from Essex University in Colchester which was the first degree course I actually passed having started and not completed 8 of them. the point is I learned from every single one. I’ve got three degree’s of university credits at least just in first year work in different disciplines. I’ve seen that this knowledge can be to my advantage. I’m looking good for finally passing a Bachelors as well maybe more than one to try and build up to being a Masters Graduate from Harvard University Extension School by the end of my life possibly in Cybersecurity.

At the moment I’m studying hard at home for 8 IT qualifications in Network Engineering and Cybersecurity to start a new career switch into a science for the first time. With the top salaries being what they are in Cyber I’m very for entering the profession and fighting back for 5 million at least by the end of my life.

I’m not giving up on the core of my work either in the arts but to be the total person who works on all his strengths and weakness to become the ultimate polymath simply because it’s fun to study to me and do everything you want with it some people like to show off with Ferraris in their yard I like the idea of a degree form Harvard ultimately. To be that in command of the skills you have is to be the ultimate human being to me.

I’ve just completed a diploma in Audio Engineering with my German univeristy HOFA college online school of audio engineering a private uni affilated to Triagon Academy Germany’s most poplar private university and distance learning provider. My final year at Triagon will by on a German language cohort with language of instruction German writing my thesis in that language. I successfully completed my diploma at HOFA and I’ve just been accepted for the final year top up at Triagon and there is the possibility of going all the way up to a doctorate with them I haven’t even considered yet. It’s an incredibly exciting time for me. There might be a C2 Native Speaker Equivalency Diploma in German language form the Goethe Institute in it as well. All those skills up at masters level! Boy have I worked for it.

Bringing it together at the end of my life as my swan song doesn’t end there. I’m doing an ARSM diploma in vocal Performance with the full intention for studying on for a Royal Schools Postgraduate Diploma in Vocal performance the coveted FRSM as well. Maybe even a Grade 8 piano as well and more, who knows? I had piano as a second study in Germany and passed it playing my first Bach Prelude without a single mistake at 25. I’ve listed my current projects I’m paying and studying for above.

There is money in cyber security, big money at the top of that profession after 5-7 years work I’m going for the £180-200,000 salary and using that to market my work as a singer, writer, and media artist. I’ve written 8 books, 435 poems, 235 traditional scores and have made 945 Soundcloud musical recordings and voiceovers. I might apply to do a diploma at Abbey Road Studios in London to learn how to record ultimately face to face, we’ll see.
