Story of the Cybersecurity so far.
I’m currently half way though studying to enter the cybersecurity porfession.
I have four Certifications so far that I’ve accumulated since starting in 2023, All of them are online verifyable.
I’m gradually building my knowledge of IT. I just happened to answer an advert on Facebook about getting a 72,000 average salary for competing in the discipline and I needed money for my finals in audio initially so I thought I’d give it a go but it’s actually very interesting to me as profession having been an avid gamer and Techie at heart and programmer in my youth.
The biggest exam I have so far is the Network Plus N10-009 which is valid for three years form August 27th 2025, that is like an A Level examination at Level three in how computers Communicate over the internet and how they connect with each other. the passmark here was 80% and I passed it with 80.5% (720/900 and I scored 725/900). I’m now scoring higher on the network component in other exam preparation for example in the A+ I’m scoring in the 80s and 90s consistently with virgin questions. This one is a badge of pride I really had to work for that.
CompTIA Tech plus is a level 2 qualification in general IT, database query language and programming roughly pertaining to the level of a GCSE exam. The exam is valid in perpetuity. This one I passed with 718/900 which is 79.97%. The passmark was 650/900 whcih is 72%.
Then there are my two Microsoft qualifications Microsoft SC900 I passed on the 14th August 2024 with 811/1000 narrowly my best result so far at 81.1% Security. compliance and Identity Fundamentals a level 2 one. The other one is AZ900 or Microsoft Azure Fundamentals which a qualification in Microsoft Cloud Technology also at level 2 I got that in February 2024.
